RH4554 Durgin Aesthetic Sterling Sugar and Creamer

An aesthetic sterling silver sugar and creamer by Durgin in excellent condition, the sugar bowl with applied butterfly, two swallows, crab and flowers and leaves on both sides (different) with swing "bamboo" handle. Height 3"; diameter at 3 1/2"; gold wash inside. The creamer has similar applications of three butterflies, a swallow and different flowers and leaves on each side with a naturalistic applied bamboo handle. Height 3 1/2". Both the sugar and creamer are marked with the old Durgin mark (circa 1880) as well as sterling silver and 925/1000. Combined weight 13 troy ounces.
